Joining is easy.
If you’re a Young Democrat between the ages of 13 - 35 and reside in Chesapeake, Hampton, Isle of Wight, James City, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, or Williamsburg, then HRYD is the organization for you! Whether you’re in high school, college, or simply a Young Dem looking to get politically engaged, Hampton Roads Young Democrats can provide you with a variety of benefits. From professional networking to volunteering, there are lots of opportunities available with Hampton Roads Young Dems.

Outside our service area? Older than 35 or younger than 13, but still a Young Dem at Heart? You can still support us with a donation.
Fill Out Our Form
Our short membership form takes less than five minutes to complete. Your information will help us ensure we’re the right fit.
Attend Our Next Meeting
We offer both in-person and virtual meeting options. No matter where you are, you can still join in on the fun! We rotate our in-person meetings throughout Hampton Roads.
Get Voted In & Pay Dues
During our next meeting, the membership will vote you in (a formality). Then, you can pay your $10 dues online for your convenience.
